Best for monsoon Best Time to Travel

The landscapes, ranging from lush tropical valleys to stark high plateaus, lead to varied weather patterns within Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan.
While winter months have good weather for touring around Nepal and Bhutan, Tibet experiences harsh cold.
On the other hand, the summer months from June to August are best time to go to Tibet since it is in rain shadow of the Himalayas. However, heavy monsoon rain complicates travel in Nepal and Bhutan.
Consequently, the best time to explore all three destination in a single trip is from April to May and September to October. These months provide travelers with stable weather, clear skies, and pleasant temperatures throughout the region.

Trip Review

Thank you, too, for the flexibility you allowed in me to choose what "I" wanted to do and see ... and not forcing me into a cookie cutter tour. I definitely told you that I had five requests: the Potala Palace, Tiger's Nest, Bhutan, Base Camp, and that I wanted to see the country; the way the real people live.
